Summary
Louis XIV was the most extravagant, sumptuous, and luxurious king in French history. He moved the court to Versailles, which is still today one of the grandest palaces in the world.
Like Louis XIV himself, "The Louis XIV Suite" is also our most extravagant, sumptuous, and luxurious suite. Located in the Arc de Texas®, this suite occupies the entire third floor. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths and sleeps 12 people comfortably, 14 people with the use of the 2 two leather embossed couches in the living room (all linens are provided). A full kitchen, comfortable and elegant living space with central air/heat furnish this suite. Guests at "The Louis XIV Suite" have access to the swimming pool and hot tub in the resort area of the Arc (shared by other guests staying at the Arc and at the homes), the large fire pit and rooftop terrace. What is most stunning about this suite is the views. There are no less than 18 large square windows encircling the entire suite - offering views in every direction!
Rates & Restrictions
The nightly rate for 2 people is $490 per night. For each additional guest (over the age of 2), its $30 per night per person up to a max of 14 people (so if you have 14 people staying in the suite the nightly rate would be $850 plus tax.) We have a 2 night minimum (except 3 nights on major holiday dates and Spring Break). Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.
If you wish to bring your dog we have accommodations for them as well. The area around the building is fenced and they are welcome in the suite. We ask that you keep them off the furniture and beds and you are required to bring a crate to house them when you are away from the suite. Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.

Detailed Information
This luxurious suite spans the entire 3rd floor of the Arc de Texas®. The master bedroom has a huge scrolled wood and embossed leather king headboard, along with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has king bed with a leather embossed headboard, and the third and fourth bedrooms contain two queen beds in each with wrought iron scrolled and leather embossed headboards in each (all linens are provided.) There is a hall bathroom that contains two rooms (one with a sink and toilet and the other with a sink and shower with a pocket door between them - so one person can be taking a shower and another person can still use the other half of the bathroom). There is a 1/2 bath in the hallway leading from the dining area to the master bedroom. So, you only need to pack your overnight bag, we have thought of everything you will need to make your stay comfortable.

The kitchen is furnished with coffeemaker, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, etc.
The living area has leather furnishings, and a large flat panel TV for your enjoyment. You can put your feet up and read a good book, watch satellite TV (movie channels included) or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the television. There is no telephone but there is an internet connection in the Arc de Texas® if you really must stay in touch with those everyday hassles!
In addition, we also have a propane grill for outdoor cooking for all guests staying at the Arc de Texas®. You will have access to the entire ranch (both tracts), which has numerous springs, over 4,000 feet of clear rock-bottom creek to swim and tube in (and including a unique creekside hot tub and waterfall grotto), 8 ponds to fish, a seasonal waterfall and miles of trails for riding ATVs, bike riding, hiking or horseback riding on your own horses (to bring horses to this suite you would need to rent the Red House as well as the paddock for horses is located behind the home).

The suite can be accessed via an elevator on the south end. The elevator can also take you to the rooftop terrace or you can take stairs from the north end of the suite to the rooftop terrace. You also have access to the Arc's large fire pit, with chairs, that allows you to sit and enjoy the stars around the fire.
