Summary

Summary

"The Log Home" is totally secluded and nearly brand new.  It is the only house located on Lighthouse Hill Ranch South, which is a 361 acre tract of land located about 4 miles south of the main ranch.  The home sits up on a hill where every room has a view and it is within walking distance of McCall Creek providing you a private area to swim, float in a tube and fish.  You also have access to the swimming, tubing and fishing areas with limestone cliffs and crystal clear water (and rock bottoms) on the 6-8 acre Miller Creek lake system located on the main ranch of Lighthouse Hill Ranch.

"The Log Home" has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a loft, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, central air/heat and a great fire pit to sit and enjoy the stars.  The house sleeps 6-11 people with the use of the 2 queen bean bed bags in the loft and the sofa in the living room (all linens are provided.)

Rates & Restrictions

The nightly rate for 2 people is $310 per night.  For each additional guest (over the age of 2), its $30 per night per person up to a max of 11 people (so if you have 11 people staying in the home the nightly rate would be $580 plus tax.)  We have a two night minimum (except three nights on major holiday dates and Spring Break).  Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.

If you wish to bring your dog we have accommodations for them as well.  The yard is fenced for your dog.  We ask that you keep them off the furniture and beds and you are required to bring a crate to house them when you are away from the house.  Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.

Detailed Information

The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full en-suite bath.  The other two bedrooms have a shared bath between them (one of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds.)  The loft area has two queen size beds that are inside the bean bags chairs.

The kitchen is furnished with coffeemaker, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, etc.

The living area has vaulted wood ceilings, leather furnishings, and a large flat panel TV for your enjoyment.  You can put your feet up and read a good book, watch satellite TV (movie channels included) or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the television.  There is no telephone but there is an internet connection in the house if really must stay in touch with those everyday hassles!

Above the living area is a loft with a satellite TV (movie channels included) and two large bean bag chairs for the kids to have a place to hang out.  There's a large fire pit with "rocking" chairs that you can sit in and enjoy a great fire.  There's plenty of firewood on the ranch.  In addition, we also have a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.

During your stay you have access to the entire 2,001 acre ranch (both tracts), which has numerous springs, over 4,000 feet of clear rock-bottom creek to swim and tube in (and including a unique creekside hot tub and waterfall grotto), 8 ponds to fish, a seasonal waterfall and miles of trails for riding ATVs, bike riding, hiking or horseback riding; as well as the swimming pool and hot tub located at the Arc de Texas®.
