Summary
What could more appropriate than a “Joan of Arc” suite in the Arc de Texas® building? The Arcs that have been built in history often commemorate famous military victories, and Joan was a superb warrior.
This very handsome suite is located on the north side of the Arc de Texas® on the second floor. It has both northerly and westerly views. You have some excellent views of the Lighthouse and the northern portion of the ranch from this suite. Joan never married and so this suite is a one bedroom suite, albeit with 2 ornate queen beds with wrought iron scrolled headboards (OK, Joan was never a queen and she probably never slept in anything so fancy but that doesn't mean you have to scrimp on luxury). Linens are provided. It sleeps 4 comfortably and 5 with the use of the sofa in the living area. Just like our other homes, you need only to pack your overnight bag. We have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.

Rates & Restrictions
The nightly rate for 2 people is $230 per night. For each additional guest (over the age of 2), it's $30 per night per person up to a max of 5 people (so if you have 5 people staying in the suite the nightly rate would be $320 plus tax.) We have a two night minimum (except three nights on major holiday dates and Spring Break). Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.
If you wish to bring your dog we have accommodations for them as well. The area around the building is fenced and they are welcome in the suite. We ask that you keep them off the furniture and beds and you are required to bring a crate to house them when you are away from the suite. Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.

Detailed Information
This suite includes a kitchenette, central air/heat, and access to the Arc's community swimming pool and hot tub. You can also use the elevator to go to the roof top terrace to enjoy your cocktail while taking in the arresting 360 degree views. You also have access to the Arc's large fire pit, with chairs, that allows you to sit and enjoy the stars around the fire.
The kitchenette is furnished with coffeemaker, pots, pans, 2 burner cook top, under counter refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, etc.The living area has leather furnishings, and a large flat panel TV for your enjoyment. You can put your feet up and read a good book, watch satellite TV (movie channels included) or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the television. There is no telephone but there is an internet connection in the Arc de Texas® if you really must stay in touch with those everyday hassles!
In addition, we also have a propane grill for outdoor cooking for all guests staying at the Arc de Texas®. Rental of any of our houses or suites provides you access to the entire ranch (both tracts), which has numerous springs, over 4,000 feet of clear rock-bottom creek to swim and tube in (and including a unique creekside hot tub and waterfall grotto), 8 ponds to fish, a seasonal waterfall and miles of trails for riding ATVs, bike riding, hiking or horseback riding.
