The Green House

The Green House has been comprehensively renovated and is virtually a brand new house.  It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a loft, a basement game room and bar, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, central air/heat and  a great fire pit to sit and enjoy the stars.  The house sleeps 10 people (all linens are provided.)  The master bedroom has a king size bed and an full bath.  The other two bedrooms have a shared bath between them (one of these bedrooms has two queen beds and the other bedroom has two bunk beds (each bunk bed has a twin over twin)).  The rate for this house is $260 per night for 2 people (additional $15/night for each extra person up to a max of 10 people.)   There is a 2 night minimum.  Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.

The kitchen is furnished with coffeemaker, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, microwave, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, etc.

The living area has vaulted wood ceilings, leather furnishings, and a large flat panel TV for your enjoyment.  You can put your feet up and read a good book, watch satellite TV (movie channels included) or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the television.  There is no telephone but there is an internet connection in the house if really must stay in touch with those everyday hassles!

Above the living area is a loft with a satellite TV (movie channels included), a DVD player and pillows for the kids to have a place to hang out.

The basement has leather furnishings, a bar, a refrigerator, a flat panel satellite TV (movie channels included) to watch "the game."

The backyard is fenced and has a large fire pit with "rocking" chairs that you can sit in an enjoy a great fire.  There's plenty of firewood on the ranch.  There's also a picnic table that you can use to have a meal outside.  In addition, we also have a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.

If you wish to bring your dog or your horse we have accommodations for them as well.  The back yard is fenced for your dog.  For horses, we have a paddock with a water trough & feed trough (this paddock is located near the Brown House).  Next to this paddock is also a run-in and a tack area to keep your tack and feed dry.  The rate for dogs is $15 per night per dog and for a horses it is $25 per night per horse.

Sit and read a good book, watch Direct TV on a 42” plasma TV or go into town and rent a movie and watch on the DVD player. We have thought of everything...so if you feel like a cooking a meal you need only head into town and buy the groceries. Overlooking the vaulted kitchen and living room is a hang out zone for kids. They can spread out on the carpet with the large floor pillows and watch cartoons on Direct TV or watch a movie on the DVD player. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and has it's own private bathroom. The master bedroom also has Direct TV on a 36" plasma TV and a DVD player to enjoy a late night movie in bed. The "queen" bedroom has two queen beds and shares a bathroom with the bunkroom. It has a back door to the fenced backyard for those early risers in your party. With two twin over twin bunk beds it is a great place to have all the kids in your party sleep! Shares a bathroom with the "queen" bedroom. Through the bunk bedroom is the stairs leading to the basement....or some call it "The Man Cave." The basement is equipped with a bar with a mini-fridge to keep those "beers" cold that you can enjoy while watching a game on the 42" plasma TV that gets Direct TV. Some call this place..."The Man Cave!" The backyard has a large fire pit with "rocking" chairs. The yard is fenced to keep "Fido" contained. .
